A New Way to Promote Your Events and Learn New Skills – TeachStreet.com

8:00 am Event Promotion

Many readers are also actively promoting their events so more of the right people will benefit from what they have to share.  If you are in that situation, check out TeachStreet.    It’s an online community where people love to learn.  Whether you are a student or an instructor, there is something for everyone.  And it’s free to play.

Once you start posting your events there, your students can post reviews about their experience.  This helps build the buzz about what you are bringing to market.  Whether you want to learn about public speaking in San Francisco, Yoga in Los Angeles, or DIY Publicity in Seattle, there is an avenue to learn more about what most interests you or share your expertise with those who can benefit from how you serve.  Check it out and start splashing in the waters of TeachStreet.

I see that Joseph already beat me to the punch with his comment, but I also wanted to mention that you can link directly to your class with this URL (may be even faster for your fans):

Or, of course, to your profile:

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to Joseph or I.

    Hi Joseph and Dave,

Thanks for posting and contributing. Today two of my Publici-Tea™ graduates posted wonderful reviews to TeachStreet, which goes to show that if you ask for what you want, you often get what you ask for.

Last night I attended Melissa Wadsworth’s “Dinner and a Dream Board” event in Redmond, which was promoted on Teach Street.

There is a lot of great bounty to learn, and your site is making it easy for people to find the right instructors to show them the way. Keep up the great work.
